Accessibility Statement

1. Commitment / प्रतिबद्धता

Uttar Pradesh Police and the E-Maalkhana project team aim to make this System accessible to authorised users, including officers who rely on assistive technologies. We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, consistent with Government of India Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) principles where applicable to this authenticated application.

उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस और ई-मालखाना परियोजना दल इस प्रणाली को अधिकृत उपयोगकर्ताओं — जिनमें सहायक तकनीकों पर निर्भर अधिकारी शामिल हैं — के लिए सुगम बनाने का लक्ष्य रखते हैं। हम WCAG 2.1 स्तर AA के अनुरूपता की दिशा में कार्य करते हैं, तथा जहाँ लागू हो GIGW सिद्धांतों का अनुसरण करते हैं।

• Bilingual (English / Hindi) interface via language toggle
• Document language attribute updated when the UI language changes
• Contrast-oriented Paper & Ink visual theme

प्रमाणित लेआउट पर मुख्य सामग्री हेतु स्किप लिंक, कीबोर्ड पहुँच, द्विभाषी इंटरफ़ेस और भाषा परिवर्तन पर दस्तावेज़ भाषा अद्यतन सहित उपाय अपनाए गए हैं।

3. Known limitations / ज्ञात सीमाएँ

Some areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known or likely limitations include complex data tables, chart or image-heavy views, third-party embeds, camera/QR capture flows, and dense administrative consoles that may need further labelling, focus management, or alternative text. We continue to improve these areas as the System evolves.

कुछ क्षेत्र अभी पूर्णतः WCAG 2.1 AA पर नहीं हो सकते — जैसे जटिल तालिकाएँ, चार्ट/छवि-प्रधान दृश्य, तृतीय-पक्ष घटक, कैमरा/QR प्रवाह और घने प्रशासनिक कंसोल। प्रणाली के विकास के साथ इनमें सुधार जारी रहेगा।

This statement was prepared for operational transparency in July 2026 and may be updated as accessibility work progresses. It does not constitute a formal third-party audit certificate.
