1. Commitment / हमारा लक्ष्य

Uttar Pradesh Police and the E-Maalkhana team aim to make this System usable for authorised officers, including those who use assistive technologies. We work toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and follow GIGW principles where they apply to this login-based application.

उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस और ई-मालखाना टीम इस सिस्टम को अनुमति प्राप्त अधिकारियों — जिनमें सहायक तकनीक उपयोग करने वाले अधिकारी शामिल हैं — के लिए आसान बनाना चाहती है। हम WCAG 2.1 स्तर AA की दिशा में काम करते हैं, और जहाँ लागू हो GIGW नियमों का पालन करते हैं।

2. What we have done / क्या किया गया है

  • Clear headings and labelled form fields where implemented
  • Keyboard-friendly navigation and controls
  • English / Hindi language toggle
  • Page language updates when you switch UI language
  • Paper & Ink theme designed for readable contrast

मुख्य कंटेंट तक स्किप लिंक, कीबोर्ड से उपयोग, हिंदी/अंग्रेज़ी टॉगल, और पढ़ने में आसान कंट्रास्ट वाले थीम सहित उपाय अपनाए गए हैं।

3. Known limitations / अभी की सीमाएँ

Some parts may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA — for example complex tables, charts or image-heavy screens, third-party components, camera/QR flows, and dense admin screens. We keep improving these as the System develops.

कुछ भाग अभी पूरी तरह WCAG 2.1 AA पर नहीं हो सकते — जैसे जटिल टेबल, चार्ट/फोटो वाले स्क्रीन, तीसरे पक्ष के कंपोनेंट, कैमरा/QR फ्लो और घने एडमिन स्क्रीन। सिस्टम के विकास के साथ इनमें सुधार जारी रहेगा।
